We would like to thank all of the dedicated Firefighters who use vacation or
personal time from work to provide this wonderful service to the kids of
Sandusky.  You truly are the
SUPER HEROS!  Your time and dedication to teach
children about fire safety has impacted more lives than you'll ever know.

Parents, be sure to hug a Firefighter and say thank-you.

Sandusky Fire Hall Visit
The children listen carefully as 'The Fire Chief' reminded
everyone that you should NEVER go back in for a favorite toy,
blanket or pet.  Everything in the house can be replaced
except one thing,  the people.
So the #1 priority in a fire is to GET OUT and STAY OUT!  Never go back into a fire.
Never hide during a fire, the funny noises are coming
from the fireman's mask.  It sounds like Darth Vader
from Star Wars, but it is really the firefighter coming to
find you and get you out of the fire.
Sometimes children get scared of the
firefighters in a fire and run away from
them.   The mask makes them look and
sound scary.
  Don't be afraid!  This
firefighter is here to help you get
out of the fire!
   Run
TO the firefighter so he
can carry you outside and away
from the fire.

THANK-YOU
